Departure Invitation | Photoshop
My highschool requires every graduating visual arts senior to organize and show in in one of seven to eight exhibits. After an initial disappointment over the members of my group (everyone feels this way at first), we began to get things organized. Crystal came up with the show's name, and we accepted it since it incorporated the word art and represented our own departure from public school. I was chosen as the manager of the entire project, although most of us did the same amount of work (see my nose grow?). After stress, stress, and stress, we had the opening to a decent croud of people. After the evening had passed and we had fully collapsed on the floor of the gallery, we felt that we had been part of a legacy of past senior shows. It truly did mark the end of our public art education and mental health.
