Monday, September 04, 2006 Search for the Dump This evening I went on a drive to St. John’s Island to find the Portland City dump. I swear I had seen it on an Internet map, but when I got to the general area I consulted paper map and could find no mention of it. I hoped that my nose could lead the way, but I guess today’s modern dumps don’t smell.

I got pleasantly lost in the forest-lined woods. I waved to fellow cyclists.
