A Married Couple’s Weekend in Prague

Prague offers so many attractions for a recently married couple like J and I it’s hard to choose. Should we walk hand in hand through alley of psychotic marionettes to an absinthe discotheque in a crypt? Spend a serious afternoon in the Museum of Ham? Perhaps take a stroll through a sweet smelling orchard of rotting fruit and bees? Or maybe we could just take it easy and sit in the rain by the river and watch hoboes eat ducks?

Sadly, we did none of this. The weather vacillated between muggy heat and cold drizzle, and we timed our walks to be out for the worst of it.

I was delighted that J was able to come out and visit, even though it was for a weekend. This eternal work trip is halfway through and I’m looking forward to going home to my guns, pet bald eagle, fiscal irresponsibility, dogmatic religiosity, and monogamous wife.
