Saturday Biking to Nanpu Bridge, Feast at Guyi

Saturday, August 8th, 2009

Saturday morning, J. and I went on a quick bike ride back to Nanpu bridge. I wanted to try photographing some of the demolished buildings before it started raining. The clouds were fast-moving and more menacing than the last weekend when it poured, so I assumed the weather would be worse. But for our whole trip, there wasn’t a drop of rain.

For dinner, we met a friend from work and three of his friends from Singapore. Our restaurant was called Guyi, a higher-end and well respected maker of Hunan cuisine. With a group of six, lots of spicy and delicious dishes could be ordered.

After our late dinner, the evening was cool and windy. We came home and I struggled to get a decent connection for multiplayer Crysis Wars as J. knitted a blanket.
