and now it seems no where near stopping, but that doesn't diminish how
far it has come or how many eyes get to glaze over it or ponder it or
reflect about their own place and direction because of it. Meaningful
as always, this site seems to have acquired the significant role of being
the gathering place for all the people of Nik's past. I am one of them.
Which isn't to say that I am not also a person in Nik's present. Nik's
a butt-head. Argh! What is it, 5 years now, and you still never cease to amaze
me, man. I knew doing that CD-Rom yearbook was a huge mistake (since CD-Roms
have gone the way of the 8-trak, an all), I should've taken two painting
classes instead! bah, regrets, schmegrets. Glad to hear something's happenin
for ya in San Fran. Make it happen. I'm moving back to Austin (the mothaland)
later this month to find my roots (and my boots!). I wish ya much luck
man, I still envy where you're at artistically. Seriously, when I get

Yay ! i liked this site, cause its a rubicks site i havent seen before!

this site is slickkk. While searching for information on Elliot Figg, I came across your
site, and was amazed at all that you have accomplished! I remember the
Nikolaus Daum that I knew from Sidney Lanier! The last time I remember
seeing you, you were dancing with Crystal at Jennifer Ellis' house after
our 8th grade dance at Greiner. I can't believe all the time that has
passed since we were at Lanier and Greiner. Next month, I will start graduate

I'm going to say that my favorite of what I've seen is the Radiohead Booklet,

Nik, Hey, long time no hear from, huh? Anyway, your art has only
gotten better with time. I'm truly, truly impressed. These days, my life
is occupied with music creation. I'm loving it. Anyway, just wanted to
say hi, and that your work is totally brilliant. I very, very much appreciate

his hand in he had then wiped through it with out then readjusting anything
so that when he saw himself in the window's reflection his hair was in
the most inconceivably grotesque disarray. There were curls here and their
that looked all nappy and shit. It was a whole-heartedly displeasing mixture
of the look of pure clumsy idiocy, ill- founded pretensciousness, and
it gave his head what must have been inherently the most aesthetically
revolting shape to look at as if it was some huge, lop-sided, and wrinkled
balloon. But he just stood there looking at himself. Any other day he
would have immediately adjusted himself back to security, back to bland
conformity, but now he was frozen in awe as if he had never really let
himself see just how bad he could look. Slowly a smile ebbed onto his
face and the faintest airy laugh could be heard in his throat. It was
time he started acting like an asshole, being unpleasant, not doing anything
"right", relishing in awkward silences, being thoroughly inconsistent
